MOZGII, Inc. is looking for one AI expert. Not a team and not a manager: the person who builds the models this platform runs on. MOZG is a marketplace across nineteen sites and ten languages, and nearly everything hard about it is a language problem. Understanding what somebody meant when they typed four words into search. Writing a listing's headline in the language its author wrote it in. Filing it into a tree of thousands of categories. Answering questions about all of it without inventing anything. What you would own - Search end to end: lexical and vector retrieval, the fusion between them, re-ranking, and the evaluation set that says whether a change made it better or only different. - The models that write for us, and the cost of every call they make. Credits are a product constraint here, not an afterthought. - Prompt, context and retrieval design as engineering rather than as craft: versioned, measured, reproducible, with a regression suite that fails loudly when quality slips. - The decision about what runs on a hosted model and what we run ourselves, and being right about it. What we need - You have shipped LLM systems real people used, and you can say what broke and what you did about it. - Retrieval and ranking are things you have measured rather than read about. Embeddings, hybrid search, evaluation harnesses, the unglamorous half. - Python. The backend is FastAPI, SQLAlchemy async and Postgres with pgvector. - Judgement about cost. Every call is charged against somebody's balance, so two percent better at ten times the price is a worse answer. - Six years or more of this, or work that makes the number irrelevant. Terms - Remote, full time. $12,000 to $20,000 a month, decided by what you have actually built rather than by where you live. - You report to me and there is nobody in between. - The AI surface is yours.
